Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit callenford.com or buy from us, why we hold it, and what rights you have over it.

1. Who controls your data

The controller of your personal data is Valcrest s.r.o. (Company No. 24352357), registered at Štítného 202/35, 130 00 Prague – Žižkov, Czech Republic, trading as Callen Ford.

2. What we collect

Information you give us directly:

  • Name, billing and shipping address, email address and phone number
  • Order details and purchase history
  • Payment information, which is processed by our payment providers and is never stored on our servers
  • Anything you send us by email or through our contact form

Information collected automatically when you browse:

  • Device and browser information, including IP address and operating system
  • Pages viewed, time on site and the link that referred you

3. Why we use it, and on what basis

  • To fulfil your order — processing payment, arranging delivery, handling returns. Basis: performance of our contract with you.
  • To provide support — answering your questions and resolving problems. Basis: performance of our contract, and our legitimate interest in running the business properly.
  • To prevent fraud and protect the site. Basis: our legitimate interests.
  • To meet accounting and tax obligations. Basis: legal obligation.
  • To send marketing email. Basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To measure and target advertising. Basis: your consent, given through our cookie settings.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share only what is necessary with the providers who help us operate:

  • Shopify — our ecommerce platform and hosting
  • Payment providers — including PayPal, Shop Pay, Klarna, Apple Pay and Google Pay
  • Carriers and fulfilment partners — including YunExpress, 4PX and SpeedX, and your local postal service
  • Email and analytics providers — used to send order notifications and marketing you've opted into, and to understand how the site is used
  • Meta Platforms — where you have consented to advertising cookies, as described below

Each receives only the data needed to do its job and is required to protect it under applicable data-protection law.

5. Cookies and advertising

We use cookies to keep your cart, remember your preferences and understand how the site performs.

Where you consent, we also use the Meta pixel, which allows us to measure the performance of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram and to show ads to people who have visited the site. You can withdraw this consent at any time through our cookie settings, or by managing cookies in your browser.

6. How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires us to hold them. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe. Anything else is kept only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, then deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Have inaccurate data corrected
  • Have your data erased, where we have no overriding obligation to keep it
  • Restrict or object to how we process it
  • Receive your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent to marketing or advertising cookies at any time

To exercise any of these, email sales@callenford.com. We respond within 30 days.

If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you also have the right to complain to the Czech supervisory authority, the Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (Office for Personal Data Protection), or to the authority in your own country of residence.

8. Security

This site runs over SSL encryption, and payment data is handled solely by certified payment processors — we never see or store your full card details.

9. International transfers

Some of our providers operate outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where your data is transferred outside the EEA, it is protected by safeguards recognised under EU data-protection law, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

10. Children

This site is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in law or in how we operate. The current version is always the one published on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
